Ryan Manning, MFTC

Emotionally Focused Therapist

(pronouns: he/him)

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT Ryan

Originally from the sunny state of California, I moved to Colorado to be closer to my family who had moved to Denver years prior. As a ‘career changer’, I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity and privilege to work as an emotionally focused family therapist after many years in the corporate arena. Personally, I love film, reading, hiking the beautiful mountains of Colorado, and indoor rowing in my spare time. I also find solace in spending time with my partner, my cat, friends, family, and striving for a mindful practice in balancing life.

Why I am pursuing a career as a Marriage and Family Therapist

I have always appreciated the relational aspect of humanity and how we build, maintain, and cultivate relationships with ourselves and others. In my own journey, I have felt and witnessed the profound power of a safe place to discover, rediscover, and explore the intricacies of life and relationships therein. I enjoy creating the same safe space for others looking for change and looking for a deeper understanding of their journey in connecting with themselves and others. I am pursuing this career for the privilege of sharing in these journeys with others and empowering them as they make changes to build more rewarding, rich and robust lives and communities.

People are never too young or too old to look for human connection.
