A LITTLE BIT ABOUT Luciana

Born in Argentina, I was raised in New York City. I left its crowds and gray skies to live in the sunshine and awe-inspiring nature that Colorado has to offer. My favorite hobbiesinvolve moving my body in creative ways: I’ve been a dancer for most of my life and I rock climb with my husband in our free time..

Why I am pursuing a career as a Marriage and Family Therapist

My road to becoming a therapist started with receiving therapy as a client. I was guided in exploring my thoughts and feelings in a way that helped me know myself better and be kinder to myself—including those parts of me I found difficult to accept. Finding a therapist with whom I could build a safe and trusting relationship was crucial to finding trust and safety within myself. I value building that same type of relationship with my clients.

My interest in working specifically with clients through the relational lens emerged from my previous role as a family and parenting coach, where I observed the importance of attachment in how parents, children, and couples relate to each other. I learned that in many ways, healing happens through relationships.
