Client care and engagement specialist

Client Engagement Specialist: The Voice of IRTC

At IRTC, we believe that the first interaction someone has with our practice matters just as much as the therapy itself.

When someone reaches out, they are often overwhelmed, unsure, and comparing multiple options. In that moment, you are not just answering a call—you are helping them decide where they feel safe enough to begin.

This role requires someone who can hold both:

  • Deep empathy and human connection, and

  • A clear, confident ability to guide someone toward choosing us

We are looking for someone who naturally sees each conversation through a marketing and engagement lens—someone who understands that how we communicate our work is just as important as the work itself.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

You will serve as the bridge between curiosity and commitment.

That means:

  • Creating an immediate sense of warmth, trust, and professionalism

  • Listening carefully and asking thoughtful questions

  • Helping potential clients feel confident that they’ve found the right place

  • Communicating the value of our practice in a way that feels natural and grounded

  • Guiding clients toward scheduling—so they can stop searching and start care

You will also:

  • Collaborate closely with our therapists to fill and balance schedules

  • Track and manage all client inquiries

  • Identify ways to improve our intake and engagement process

  • Contribute to the overall growth and strength of the practice

Who Thrives in This Role

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Feels energized by connecting with people in meaningful moments

  • Understands how to balance empathy with direction

  • Takes pride in helping people make important decisions

  • Thinks like both a helper and a strategist

  • Wants to be part of a team and contribute to something growing

You are someone who doesn’t just “do your job”—you see how your role impacts the entire practice.

Our Team & Values

We are a team of 10 therapists who care deeply about:

  • Providing excellent, ethical clinical care

  • Practicing with integrity and strong boundaries

  • Creating a supportive, collaborative work culture

  • Staying grounded in compassion, respect, and social justice

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us, contribute meaningfully, and take ownership of their role in our shared success.

Role Details

  • Hybrid (Denver-based): 50% in-person / 50% remote

  • 25–30 hours/week, Monday–Friday

  • 80% client engagement, 20% admin support

Final Note

If you are someone who:

  • Loves people

  • Thinks strategically

  • And wants to be part of a practice that is both mission-driven and growing

…this role offers a rare opportunity to do meaningful work at the front door of real change—for both clients and our team.

Here is an example of one of our therapy rooms. We love providing a cozy, ‘living room’ feel in each of our rooms.

We welcome our clients with hot tea, coffee and chilled water. Our clients also love our bowl of (individually wrapped!) candies that is always full on the table.

Our Diversity Statement - The Work is Never Done

At our practice, we believe that healing and growth happen within the context of authentic, inclusive relationships. As therapists who specialize in relationships, we understand that the dynamics of power, privilege, identity, and systemic oppression inevitably shape our clients' lives and our work together.

Because our team is predominantly white, it is important to share that we are deeply committed to the lifelong work of dismantling racism and white supremacy—both within ourselves and within the systems we are part of. We embrace diversity in all its forms, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, religion, and socioeconomic background. We stand for equity and inclusion, and we strive to make our practice a space where every client and every therapist feels seen, valued, and safe.

We know that intention is not enough. Our commitment is to ongoing learning, humility, accountability, and action. We regularly engage in reflection and education around power, privilege, and cultural responsiveness. Our goal is for all who walk through our doors to witness our dedication to this work—not just in words, but in how we show up, how we listen, and how we care.
